North American leaders meet for 'Three Amigos' summit

Held annually since 2005, the trilateral North American Leaders' Summit (NALS) brings together the prime minister of Canada with the presidents of the US and Mexico to discuss regional issues. 

This year will involve talks concerning the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a free-trade zone consisting of 12 Pacific Rim nations. Furthermore, the leaders discuss "a range of issues important to the daily lives of all of North America’s people." - Obama to visit Mexico in February for leaders summit on 2014-01-14
