G7 leaders meet excluding Russia due to Crimea occupation

This years annual meeting of the world's largest economies takes place without Russia due to the countries recent occupation of the Crimean peninsula. 

The objective of the summit is for the G8 members to resolve differences between them as well as promote further fruitful cooperation. 

The leaders at the summit discuss global issues such as energy, food security, health, terrorism and the environment.
