The newest date of opening was set for March 2013, but that opening date is very unlikely to be kept, one of the shareholders of the project told Reuters on August 14.
"Horst Amman, managing director, is currently examining the planned opening date," the airport said in a statement on August 14 in response to press reports. "Any changes will be communicated in a timely fashion."
