Queen Elizabeth ship
The former Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise liner opens as a floating hotel in the largest city of the United Arab Emirates.
The 300-room hotel still contains large parts of the ship's original interior to preserve the tradition that the vessel once represented.
The ship, which is owned by the Dubai state company Istithmar World, was bought from the Cunard cruise line for $100 million in 2007.
The ship was launched by the British Queen Elizabeth II in 1967 and has made at least 26 voyages around the world.
