At the annual United Nations High-level Assembly Meeting foreign ministers, diplomats and world leaders of the 192 members of the United Nations gather to discuss a wide range of issues in national and international affairs.
For the speakers, the gathering is a chance to stand at the green marble podium in the General Assembly Hall and voice their concerns, deliver verbal attacks towards adversaries or tout new ways of cooperation in national and international affairs.
The topics discussed in 2013 meeting are disability and development, the realization of Millennium Development Goals and nuclear disarmament.
