World Day for International Justice

The World Day for International Justice, also referred to as Day of International Criminal Justice or International Justice Day, commemorates the adoption of the founding treaty of theInternational Criminal Court, the Rome Statute, on July 17,1998.

The day aims to promote international criminal justice, mainly through recognition of and support for the International Criminal Court. 

17 July marks the date when the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court was first adopted in 1998.
