UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination meets for its 82nd session. 

The purpose of the committee is to monitor racial equality and non-discrimination.

During the session, the committee will consider the periodic reports of Algeria, Dominican Republic, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritius, New Zealand, Russia and Slovakia.

The session will also follow-up the activities of the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance and the Durban Review Conference.
