Activists are expected to hold a demonstration against former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. The protesters accuse Blair of conspiring with former US President George W. Bush in waging an illegal war against Iraq.

The Stop the War Coalition campaign group will protest at University College London (UCL) where Tony Blair and former UK Defence Minister John Reid are due to speak at a conference to promote the interests of arms dealers.

The activists launched their campaign War criminals & arms dealers out of our universities, in a call to keep Blair away from the spotlight for the role he played in the US-led invasion of Iraq.

"Mr Blair took our country to war against Iraq in flagrant violation of the UN Charter and in doing so committed the international crime of aggression," said a number of campaigners in a letter sent to the UCL management.
