The German electro group Kraftwerk performs at Tate Modern's Turbine Hall. Kraftwerk will play songs from a different studio album each show during eight evenings, in the order of release.
Tate Modern has described the performances as a "chronological exploration of the group's sonic and visual experiments" and promised to feature 3D effects during the shows.
"Bringing together music, video and performance, these events will be true gesamtkunstwerk - a total work of art", said gallery director Chris Dercon.
Kraftwerk played the same set for the first time at New York's Museum of Modern Art earlier this year. It is the first time since 2004 that Kraftwerk performs in London.
The electro group was one of the main synthesizer pop pioneers in the 1970s and early 1980s and has had a large influence on hip-hop and dance music.
