Air India is open to receive bids for its newly-acquired Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner planes after it announced on January 28 its intention to sell and leaseback the aeroplanes.
Despite the grounding of these aircrafts across the world, the national airline continues its plan to sell the planes, as part of the government's approved turnaround and financial restructuring plans.
At the end of this period, the company plans to sell seven of its 27 Dreamliner planes. Air India has expressed plans to sell the rest of its Dreamliner aircraft in the future.
