Italy, Albania and Greece sign an agreement to seal their support for a natural gas pipeline project to cross their territories.
The intergovernmental agreement is necessary for the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) to be built, a project which would link Azerbaijan's giant Shah Deniz II field with the three countries and further into western Europe.
TAP is one of two competing projects to carry gas from Shah Deniz to Europe, which wants to reduce its dependence on Russia and other suppliers.
The three countries had already signed a preliminary agreement to support the project in September.
