British scientists unveil the results of tests conducted to determine whether a skeleton found under a municipal parking lot in central England belongs to King Richard III.

Richard III, who ruled England between 1483 and 1485, was the last British monarch to die in combat.

Archaeologists from the University of Leicester began the search for Richard III's burial place in late August 2012.
