Ciampino Rome Airport
Rome's Ciampino Airport closes for two hours in order to allow the army to deactivate an unexploded WWII bomb weighing approximately 250 kilograms.
The army is also due to conduct the evacuation of approximately 3,400 residents from the area surrounding the airport in the municipalities of Rome and Ciampino.
The bomb was dropped from a plane over 70 years ago and is to be deactivated by the bomb disposal unit of the Italian army.
