French humanitarian-aid non-governmental organization Doctors Without Borders (MSF) opens a hospital for Syrian refugee children at the Zaatari camp in Jordan.
"In the beginning, the hospital will be have 35 beds. Later, the beds will be increased to 60, while obstetrics and gynaecology specialties will be introduced," said Antoine Foucher, head of the organization in Jordan.
The Arab kingdom reportedly hosts around 350,000 Syrian refugees, including more than 90,000 at Zaatari desert refugee camp near the border with Syria.
