French meat processing firm Spanghero starts to produce certain types of meat products, after the French authorities partially lifted the licence ban imposed on the company.

At the time the ban was imposed Spanghero was suspected of having knowingly selling horse meat labelled as beef.

The company is allowed to produce minced meat, sausages and ready-to-eat meals but is still banned from stocking frozen meat.
