since in office to meet with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius.
"The talks will allow for a discussion of all bilateral and transatlantic relations as well as the major international subjects," the French Foreign Ministry released in a statement.
The French intervention in Mali is expected to top the agenda, after the US, which has strongly approved the move, provided the French army with military support.
Other issues to be discussed are the Israeli-Palestinian peace process ahead of Kerry's visit to the region and other regional issues concerning Afghanistan, Syria and Iran.
