Ousted Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi faces a trial over fraud charges connected with the Renaissance (al-Nahda) program, a Muslim Brotherhood's economic and social plan aimed at Egypt's recovery.
In November, Morsi already went on trial for inciting violence and causing the death of at least eight people in the days leading up to his overthrow.
The ousted president will also stand trial on charges including conspiring with foreign organisations to commit terrorist acts. The charges carry a possible death penalty.
The interior ministry have said it will no longer allow Morsi's family and lawyers to visit him in prison.
